What the price is made of
Countertop cost comes down to four things: the material and slab you pick, the total square footage, the edge profile, and the number and type of cutouts for sinks and cooktops. A simple galley kitchen in standard quartz sits at the low end; a large island with a waterfall edge and premium stone sits much higher.
